Players: Code of Conduct (U18s)
It is important everyone behaves themselves when playing football.

As a player, you have a big part to play. That's why The FA is asking every player to follow a Respect Code of Conduct.

When playing football, I will:
-
Always do my best, even if we're losing or the other team is stronger.
-
Play fairly - I won't cheat, complain or waste time.
-
Never be rude to my team-mates, the other team, the referee, spectators or my coach/team manager.
-
Do what the referee tells me.
-
Shake hands with the other team and referee at the end of the game.
-
Listen to my coach/team manager and respect what he/she says.
-
Talk to someone I trust, for example my parents or the club welfare officer if I'm unhappy about anything at my club.

I understand that if I do not follow the code, action may be taken.

Dedication Value
What do we mean by Dedication?
All club members will make a commitment to the best interests of the club, it’s teams and players. Every club member will invest time, resources and effort into maximising the potential of all individuals.

Identity Colour: Everlasting Blue
Any image of a West Hallam team has always involved the colour blue it has been a constant throughout the club's history hence the everlasting blue identity colour. It is a primary colour in our home kit and our badge today alongside yellow. It links to our value of dedication as this colour represents the long-lasting commitment to the club's best interests, teams, and players, emphasising the value of dedication. It symbolises the ongoing investment of time, resources, and effort to maximise the potential of every individual within the club by all the coaches and committee.

How do we implement our Dedication value?
-
Managers will ensure they have the appropriate qualifications to run their teams including DBS, First Aid, Safeguarding Children and the Introduction to Football qualification.
-
The Club will ensure managers are supported as best as possible and that there is always someone to talk to in the Executive Committee and issues are handled fairly and sensitively.
-
Regardless of the situation to always try my best.
-
Managers and the Club will exhaust every possible avenue before calling off a game.
-
Everyone will aim to be organised, making sure sessions/matches are well planned and relevant equipment and people are in place.
-
Everyone to be punctual, attend all club activities (where possible). Ensure relevant paperwork, match reports and payments are received by the club.
-
The Club will recognise dedication through long-service awards for both players and coaches.
-
Coaches will form the Committee and help with the running of the football club by taking on roles, attending meetings and club events.
-
Everyone will take safeguarding seriously and report any concerns relating to any member within the Club to the CWO even if it is minor.
