Players: Code of Conduct (U18s)
It is important everyone behaves themselves when playing football.

As a player, you have a big part to play. That's why The FA is asking every player to follow a Respect Code of Conduct.

When playing football, I will:
-
Always do my best, even if we're losing or the other team is stronger.
-
Play fairly - I won't cheat, complain or waste time.
-
Never be rude to my team-mates, the other team, the referee, spectators or my coach/team manager.
-
Do what the referee tells me.
-
Shake hands with the other team and referee at the end of the game.
-
Listen to my coach/team manager and respect what he/she says.
-
Talk to someone I trust, for example my parents or the club welfare officer if I'm unhappy about anything at my club.

I understand that if I do not follow the code, action may be taken.

Definition of Disability
The definition of disability is as laid out in the Disability Discrimination Act 1995. This can be summarised as a physical or mental impairment, which has a substantial and adverse long-term effect on a person’s ability to carry out normal day-to-day activities. Physical disability includes hearing and visual impairment. The term ‘mental impairment’ is intended to cover a wide range of difficulties related to the way the mind works, including learning disabilities.
Overall Policy Statement
We welcome adults and young people with disabilities to become members of West Hallam Junior Football Club. Our aim is to ensure that no member should be prevented from accessing the club because of a disability.
We also believe that Disabled people should be given proper support to participate fully in whatever aspect of the club they wish to involve themselves in.
We are conscious that there are several facilities we use for training, coaching and competition that were not adequately designed for disabled people. We will continue to make representations to appropriate bodies for adaptations to facilities to ensure that they are as inclusive as we can make them.
